Wow! What a blast it was to meet so many newly engaged couples this past weekend at the Seattle Wedding Show!
My husband Paul and I were down at the convention center on Thursday setting up. I often get asked about how we set up walls in our booth. Here’s a little sneak peak of the behind the scenes of our set up. Paul created these panels for me 5 or 6 years ago and I absolutely love how functional they are when it comes to displaying the invitations without anything getting too overwhelming. (And if you know me – not being overwhelming and sticking with being functional are two of my biggest goals in life and in business!)
This year we unveiled our Invitation Design Challenge which was a huge hit! We walked couples through 3 steps to narrow in on their design style. It was so fun getting to be a little more consultative at the show and give you all a better taste of what it is like to work with me on your invitations. There is a big reason why I don’t allow my couples to just order invitations from me online but insist on talking with everyone at a consultation first. I want to guide you step by step through the process and ensure that designing your invitations is fun, stress-free and most of all, not overwhelming. (See, there it is again!)
I was also offering an awesome discount for those couples who were ready to place their orders at the show. I am so excited about all of the fun new invitations that will be going into the proofing stage here in the next couple of weeks!
If you didn’t get to attend this year, don’t worry, I do have a video version of the Design Challenge coming out next week for you to experience. You can also always book a consultation with me anytime and I would be happy to walk you through your invitation design, any questions you have as well as provide you with a customized quote based on what you need.
